Welcome, welcome, sorry about the mess

So this is my blog, it's mainly about Africa and the fact that I'm going there, but it'll probably go on many a tangent before I'm through. Enjoy reading about my adventures, I know I'll enjoy having them.

All present and correct

I've taken all your advice and comments on board and I'm still incredibly chilled. I've left Nyahururu and am now in Kisumu. It's not bad but I'm wishing I'd stayed at the camp site. I'm here because it's the nearest big town that isn't Nakuru and I think I can do more from here. I'm happy to go my own merry way (though am now planning to avoid Rwanda) but I'm thinking of trying to join a project in Tanzania or Malawi later on. So I'm taking advantage of a faster interner connection and seeing what I can fix up.
In all the keffuffle I totally forgot about Sarah's birthday (that's a lie, I remembered but thought it wasn't until 28th). The day she becomes a responsible adult will truley be a sad one-I say the same for myself.
I spoke to Rev Julius but really just to thank him for stepping forward. I don't have much inclination to stay in Kenya so I don't intend to.
I certainly don't intend to stay to long in Kisumu-as far as I can see the fast internet is pretty much its only attraction. Will check out Lake Victoria which is pretty close and then get myself to Tanzania, find a camp site and chill some more. I can't wait to hit the beaches and get my tent out again but that probably wont be until the end of April depending on how things go.
