Welcome, welcome, sorry about the mess

So this is my blog, it's mainly about Africa and the fact that I'm going there, but it'll probably go on many a tangent before I'm through. Enjoy reading about my adventures, I know I'll enjoy having them.

Europe!!!

Before we get started, please excuse any typos in this entry, we found the irish bar and happy hour is 6-11. Got to Madrid safe and sound, such a joy to be back in Europe, not that Mo9rocco wasn´t good but a starbucks and a transport system I can understyand never hurt nyone. And the buttons are all in the right place on the keyboard so all of the punctuationm marks are at my finger tips. We also found a topshops and H&M so both have clean underwear and tops at last, we did do washing but shopping is waay more fun.
Just a quick one today me thinks, hand eye co-ordination aint what it used to be after a bucket of Corona (I kid you not)

Pidgeon Pie

Greetings from Fes

Wendy is engrossed in something about Harry Potter (and may i add she has a countdown going on on her hand) so i am taking over.

We have been in Fes for the past few days we arrived very early after an over night bus and slept a fair chunk of a day but once we were awake i think it was the nicest place we have visited so far the hotel we stayed at was brilliant despite lonely planet not rating it highly at all the view from the terrace was amazing and we should hopefully have some bazzing pics. The temperature up north is a lot less intense and the people are not quite as amazed to see you (despite the fact we have seen tourists everywhere we have been) and the atmosphere is very chilled.

We went to a cafe last night which was advertising the Pastilla (pastry stuffed with chicken or pidgeon and sprinkled with icing sugar its a Morrocan delicacy apparently) things that Wendy wanted to try and they even did the pidgeon one so she had one (i didnt but i did try hers) and actually it was nice odd concept but tasty enough.

We got a train to Rabat today which is the capital it is very different here to the other places and there is a lot of modern buildings as well as the old town bit where we are staying. It is by the coast though we have not yet headed out to see the sea and there is no beach as such though they do have a surf school!!!!

We are staying in Rabat till Wednesday morning and then off to Casablanca which is our last stop in Morroco which is a shame but at the same time will be nice to get to spain a a bit of normality.

Hope you are all well and got your postcards they took longer than i expected to arrive but at least they got there before we did!!!!
