Waa, missed Fuel
Though I thought they'd already had the last one, do they just keep saying it's the last one to keep us on our toes. Who knows. Now that my /MP3 player is working again, Sarah Worship poi is deffinately my new favourite thing, needs quite a lot of space though. Poi works equally well to the rolling stones however. Discuss...

okay so I am old and dosey, but I though Fuel was something you used to power your car or heat and light your house or cook your food.
I am clearly wrong - please could someone explain.
I think you must demonstrate this Poi stuff when you get back.
Love hugs and prayers
Liz
wow that is a good idea liz. i wanna see!!! wendy consider yourself under a friendly order to show me!thank you.
Liz fuel is an alternative worship service aimed at young people.the newer music, a band, a cool speaker an dsome unity between denominations as young people from different churches join together to worship jesus as Lord!
Wendy, does it really matter what music you do something to. It's your motives that make it worhip or not. if you do it for god then its worship, that doesn't mean you can't have fun it just means that your doing it for him and not to show off.
either is good. I haven't had much of a chane to use the ribbons recently at all so am kinda missing that. I'll find somewhere, don't you worry. even if it is me in the church hall at some point. it will be fun anyway. hmmm, if i'm out of pratise that would make it really funny to watch. note to self, practise in spare time. step one, find some once i've done the exams.
a bit of ramble there. Ah well, it's all good.
p.s. wendy i feel famous as you mentioned me in your blog! thank you.
Fuel? I would be inclined to agree with Liz in that it's something you power your car with &c. But I do know that it's also the name of a fantastic vegetarian cafe-cum-restaurant-cum-bar in Withington... recommended by Tom.
As to Poi? I'm stuck... is it a Christian thing? I have to say that the first thing that came to my mind was fish... but then I realised that's Koi... hmm...
Anyway, I'm off travelling round Italy tomorrow so I won't be speaking to you all for a while so keep up the good work and all that and I'll see you soon!
Wendy... I'll e-mail you when I'm back and we'll arrange to go and get drunk in some corner and you can tell me all about Afrika Paprika.
Ciao for now, amici! xxxxx
Tom, enjoy Italy, and be sure to visit the Forum in Rome if you get to Rome, and the roof of the Sistine Chapel. And I hope the weather is comfortable for you - we were in Paris during the hottest week on record and the heat was incredible. I dont htink Poi is specifically Christian.
Oh, and Pompei, I really want to go there. And the Uffizi, where the statue of David is. Will you have a blog of your adventures
jealousy is a sin, but I am jealous, wish I was off to Italy
I agree with Sarah... if you acknowledge God in what you're doing, then you're worshipping... even if you're listening to the rolling stones... or gyrating around a dancefloor, or whatever.
I agree too. About the worship stuff.
The Rolling Stones are good, always preferred them to the Beatles, but like the real heavy stuff as well. Not modern heavy metal, but old heavy rock.
Used to love a Dutch group called Focus.
Am now showing my age
liz..
Focus ROCK!!! I saw ex-focus guitarist Jan akkerman in concert a few years ago, with a young dutch backing band. I also have a DVD - "Focus the ultimate anthology" remind me to lend it you sometime.
Focus are amazing!
I love focus, takes me back to my glory days.
Lot's of hot times on the beach.
okay, you can all stop pretemding to be Liz now, I'm sure she doesn't appreciate it, or maybe she does. immitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all.
Actually, Liz thinks you are all mad.
Last year, I replaced me old vinyl focus stuff for CDs. But the on for In and Out of Focus, doesnt have the wonderful cover
Liz - and it really is me this time
