Sarah Barnsley I need you
Samuel has been putting together a list of things for me to do and places for me to visit whilst I'm here. Nakuru-and bear in mind this is a town that doesn't even have McDonalds-has a deaf school. So I'm going to go there at some point, though we're not sure if they use BSL or not, Samuel wasn't aware that there was more than one type of sign language which then lead me on to wondering how they write Braille in Cyrillic alphabet. If anyone knows.....
So this marks the longest I've ever been away from home, I think so anyway. I'm going to be exhausted this weekend. Tonight is Kesha (all night prayer thingy) so I'll be getting no sleep and then we're setting of early in the morning to go hiking at a prehistoric site not far from here.
In answer to a few questions, Mum I don't know if it costs me money to recieve texts because nobody has sent me any recently, Liz the letters are to stop auytomatic sites adding spam comments advertising stuff, if the sacrement wants her or his identity witheld I must agree to his or her wishes. no Sacrement we did not, or at least I didn't. I don't know what happened to it and havn't bothered to ask. Also I've no idea what happened to the head but I never saw it which is a good thing.
I've gotten into a bit of a routine now and plan to continue in the pattern of blogging monday and friday afternoons. Don't hold me rigidly to that though.

p.s On the map Nakuru is a pink dot north west of Nairobi.

Glad things are going well. Sign languages I think only differ slightly - someone told me that American SL is similar to British in the way that English is similar in both countries. Braille is the same in every language but spelt phonetically I believe, but may be wrong.
I am quite happy for Sacrament to keep their identity secret, not a problem. Hiking to a prehistoric site sounds brilliant, please take photos. I am almost housebound at the moment as not allowed to drive on the pain meds, and so have to wait for someone to be able to take me places and I am climbing the walls! But op is on 6th March and 4 - 6 weeks after that I can drive again!
Take things easy (pot calling kettle black here) and try and get some rest if you have been up all night. Like I did when I was 19 (NOT)

Hi Honey, just to update you I got the letters and photos and card you sent today and have duly posted them on, Your baby Brother is now a big boy as he is fully potty and toilet trained, therefore he is likely to shout at you for calling him baby brother on your card. I have bought more stamps I'll keep them here and when you send your next package home I will post it out again. It was lovely to get everything in the post this morning and for a few lucky people it will be lovely tomorrow or monday when their post arrives. Quite a few people have been asking about you at work and send their love and best wishes. I showed this site to my Mum the other day too and she was glad to know you're doing so well. Matthew your Dad and I Send all our love and hope you continue to have a great time.
It's hard enough writing Russian in the Cyrillic alphabet! Glad you're having a good time. Sleep's overrated anyway! Be glad you're not here, it's drizzled non-stop since Wednesday night.
Cool! How come you get to go to a deaf school? I want to go! Not fair.Have fun though and 'll get through however. I'm sure i must have taught you sommething useful somewhere along the way and if not then sorry, it's a bit too late for me to help now. Prayers your way though. Since when weny have you cared bout sleep??? To prove my point there has been 24 prayer a few times and worship 24 should sum it all up. If not then think back to prayr group!Have great fun in all you get to do.
Love you lots

Love you Wendy. Will try a text on Monday after your next entry (hopefully) so that you will have read this and can check your credit before I send, and then after. please let me know by phone text if it didn't cost (then you can check if any extra cost for you sending) If I don't get a text I will assume there is a charge which i'm sure you will post on your next blog! Hope that makes more sense to you than it does to me. Hope you are not missing me (yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!) as much as I miss you. Love Mum xxxxxxx

I was just sitting here, sipping water, enjoying the comforts and conveniece of this society in which we live.
And it hit me. Wendy is in AFRICA. Possibly surviving on a diet of sand and snake blood. Kudos Wendy, I hope you'll have lots of stories for when you get back.
